What adf.ly is, it is a simple url shortening service, which allows you to shorten links. The way you make money with them is each time some clicks on your shortened link you make money. I have gathered a few ways you can make people click your adfly links deeper in this article.
Step 1:
To begin you will need to sign up with this service, it’s free so click here to sign up and join. Now fill everything in and you will then need to confirm your email.
Step 2:
Now once you signed up and logged in, go to the home page and you will see a wide box where you enter in a website url and click the shrink button.

Make A lot of Money Online: Finding New Traffic Sources

Here is the thing, if you want to make real money online, and I’m not talking about a few hundred dollars a day, I’m talking about $4,000 – $10,000 a day. Now if you all keep using the same, old, over used traffic methods like adwords, yahoo, facebook etc.. then you will not get that very far. The way the big boys make a boat load of money online is by having a whole list of traffic sources that they found themselves.  When a marketer has his own traffic sources, the potential to expend and increase your earnings is 1000 times better then using over used traffic sources like Adwords, yahoo, facebook and so on.
If your thinking what good are having traffic sources then think again. You can promote hundreds of different things. Promoting clickbank products is one of the things you can promote. Also a huge amount of internet marketers are promoting CPA offers (cost per action). Those two, clickbank and cpa is where the money’s at. I have been talking to many full time marketers and each one of them says the more traffic sources you have, then the more money you will make because you are targeting more people that haven’t seen your advertisement or product yet and will be a high chance of getting a sale or a lead.

How To Make Money Selling E-Books

Make no mistake – e-books are big business online.  No matter what you search for there will be someone out there selling an e-book on it.
But the best thing about them is that they provide one of the most potentially lucrative businesses you could ever hope to start online.  So long as you do your homework and don’t try and cut corners you can start making inroads into this business within days of deciding to get started.  There is plenty to learn but none of it is beyond you – and even if you don’t think you’re up to the job there are plenty of people you can call on to help you.
If you’re thinking of selling e-books to make money online, your best bet is to write your own.
Featured Story: Click Here to find out how one “stay at home mom” is making $379/day working from home using eBay & Google. Read the full story here.
But why do that when there are plenty of affiliate e-books around that you can promote and earn a cut from?
The answer is simple.  If you write and create your own e-book no one else will be selling anything quite like it.  You’ve got a unique product that will draw attention since no one will have seen it before.  As long as you do your research first, you could make a lot of money from one e-book alone.
So first thing’s first – how do you decide what to write an e-book about?
Think about what subjects are currently popular online.  Making money will always be a great subject (look at this blog for example!) so anything that taps into this field which doesn’t cover the same ground as loads of other e-books could do well.  Try and focus on a specific niche to get the best results; you could start by thinking about what you personally find interesting and see whether any of your hobbies might provide fertile ground to explore.
Once you’ve got some ideas see whether there are already any e-books doing well online on that subject.  If there don’t seem to be any around you’ll need to dig a bit further to see if your subject is going to be popular enough to attract a lot of sales.  A spot of keyword research and simply looking up related search terms on Google can help reveal the answer to this.
Okay – so let’s assume you now have an idea for an e-book you think will be popular.  Next up you have to plan the contents and think of a great title.  Titles are very important since they will give the potential buyer an idea of what to expect from the e-book itself.  It needs to be specific and intriguing – and full of promise.  Don’t worry if one doesn’t occur to you straightaway; quite often you will only think of it once the book is almost written.
The biggest problem when it comes to writing the book itself is staying on topic.  It’s very easy to veer off course if you’re not careful, which is why having a pre-written outline to follow will keep you on track.  If you plan this out before you begin writing you’ll find the whole process much easier to manage.  If you don’t feel confident enough to write it yourself you can hire a ghostwriter to do it for you; there are plenty of sites online where you can hire a freelancer for a fixed fee that you decide on.  This gives you complete control over the project.
Incidentally the word ‘e-book’ can be somewhat misleading for newbies to the business.  An e-book can indeed be a hundred pages or more long, but it can also be no more than a dozen pages or so.  The price for a shorter e-book will of course be lower, but it is still more than you might think given the length of the book itself.
Of course you need to think about more than just the e-book if you want to sell plenty of copies of it.  You need to get the word out, and you need to have a great mini website to show it off.  These mini websites are really single page sites which promote your e-book in a long sales letter.  You would do well to spend as much time writing the sales letter as you did the e-book itself, since it has a very important job to do.
First off you need a stunning headline that will grab the attention.  You need to really sell this to everyone who lands on your website so don’t be afraid to shout about the benefits of your e-book!  You’ll notice I said benefits there and not features; that’s because the benefits will tell your readers what your book will do for them.  That’s a very important point to understand since it could make the difference between getting a reasonable amount of sales and being buried under an avalanche of them!
Think about your price carefully too.  Don’t be greedy – but at the same time don’t go too low either.  You want to give an impression of quality.  Do some research and see what similar titles in your subject area are selling for.
You can also sell more copies by offering bonuses along with the e-book itself.  Could you write a number of special reports as well, each one a few pages long, which relate to the subject of your main book?  Anything like this will encourage still more people to buy from you rather than going elsewhere for a similar title.
The ultimate goal for you should be to write a series of e-books which each have their own website to sell from.  When you write each sales letter be sure to include plenty of keywords and phrases to attract a greater volume of search engine traffic to your site.  Pick a good and relevant domain name too – it will help to draw in more people.
The hardest step is in writing that first e-book.  Once you’ve got going and you’ve had some experience you’ll start writing them faster, picking better titles and subjects, and selling more copies as a result.  Before you know it you’ll have a great business on your hands.
If you’d like to comment on this piece, please leave your message using the form below.  Then get writing – your first e-book is there, you just have to get it out.

How To Make Money With ClickBank

ClickBank is just about the biggest website on the internet today as far as affiliates are concerned.  If you want to make money online but you don’t have a product of your own to promote, what better solution could there be than to promote someone else’s in exchange for a slice of the profits?
ClickBank is a no brainer if you want to get started on no cash at all, and you have your choice of products to promote as well.  It’s also a great chance to experiment a little and get to know what niches are profitable and which ones have the best products that you make the most sales on.
As far as an introduction to affiliate marketing goes, the best place to head to is definitely ClickBank…
Featured Story: Click Here to find out how one “stay at home mom” is making $379/day working from home using eBay & Google. Read the full story here.
Affiliate accounts are free at ClickBank, and once you have got yours you will need to take a look at the huge number of opportunities you have to promote products – mostly e-books – to your chosen audience.
Now you might be wondering how you can do this without having a website of your own or a blog you are hosting yourself, but all you need to do is get a free web page (or in fact as many as you like) from Squidoo.  Check out the separate blog entry on that very subject to see how you can combine the two for maximum benefits.
If you do have a site of your own you can easily promote ClickBank products to your existing audience by searching for items that are likely to appeal to them.  Use the search facility on ClickBank to help narrow down the number of products to sort through, and pick an appropriate category as well, to make sure you find the most suitable items.
You will get a dedicated link (called a hoplink) that will ensure you get a portion of the proceeds if someone clicks through to buy a product you have recommended.  You can cloak this if you wish for extra security on your part by visiting one of the many free shortened URL sites online today.
The best way to profit from ClickBank is to focus on providing more than just an affiliate link for your customer to click on.  The idea is to almost pre-sell the product before they even reach the sales page.  You really need to be able to recommend it to them by stirring up some enthusiasm first.
A lot of affiliates get to the stage where they build a free web page (on Squidoo) or even a whole website on a specific subject, and write (or have someone else write) material that the visitors will find useful and interesting.  In this way you are building a relationship with your visitors and projecting an image of someone that can be trusted and who knows a bit about what they are saying.  It’s ironic really, but if you come across as an affiliate people will assume you are just out to make money and won’t even take a second look at the sales page you are trying to send them to – even if that product is really worth looking at.
Less is more when you are an affiliate trying to make money from ClickBank, and the more you remember that the more sales you are likely to make over time.
The good thing is that no matter how many different products you can promote, all your earnings will go straight into the same account, ready to be paid to you once you hit your payment threshold.
The best way to start with ClickBank is to find your way around the site and get to know how it works.  Once you have done that start researching a few choice niches and develop things from there.  Slowly but surely you will start to see results.
But before you head on over to ClickBank to sign up for your free account, make sure you leave a comment for us below!  We always love to hear from you.

How To Make Money With Google Adsense

If you have a website or a blog, you should definitely sign up for Google Adsense.  It’s one of the few programs you can truly ‘set and forget’ – once it’s there you don’t really need to do much else with it.
But there are ways and means to maximize your income from Google Adsense, and as you get to know more about it you can start to generate a decent income from it that will keep rolling in month after month.  It’s a true passive income, which is why so many people are using it.
Most people have heard of Google Adsense, but not everyone understands exactly how to use it to its best advantage.  So we’ll start with how to use it in its most basic sense and then progress to the more advanced benefits you can get from the program.
Featured Story: Click Here to find out how one “stay at home mom” is making $379/day working from home using eBay & Google. Read the full story here.
Basically if you have a website or blog you can sign up for a free account at Google Adsense and start putting contextual ads on your website.  What do I mean by contextual?  It means quite simply that the ads which appear on your site will be relevant to your content.  So let’s say for example that your website is about tropical fish.  The Google ads will then be related to tropical fish in some way.  And because of the information that you give to Google, they will also display adverts that are relevant to your area.  So if you are based in the UK the ads that appear will be relevant to UK buyers; if your site or business is based in Australia the ads will appeal to Australian buyers.
All of this is carefully worked out for you in order to attract the maximum click through possible for your website and your ads.  Every time someone clicks on an ad you will get a few cents into your Adsense account, so it makes sense that the more attractive and relevant your ads are to your visitors, the more money you will make.
Let’s have a look at the appearance of your ads now, since this can affect the amount of click throughs you get.  You can choose the color and borders of your ads to fit right in with the color scheme on your site if you wish, but it’s worth experimenting with having no borders at all around your adverts since this makes them blend in with your content more seamlessly and may encourage more click throughs in a subtle but effective manner.
However well you integrate Google Adsense into your current blog or website though, there is obviously a limit to the amount of money you can make from one site.  If you get thousands of people visiting your site every day then you can expect to get a good income from it but many people don’t get this number of visitors and that’s where you need a separate strategy to try and up your numbers.
In this case you can go to the advanced level of Adsense income and think about starting several sites, all based around a different yet popular subject.  You should think of these essentially as being content sites, since they are often chock full of articles and useful content which is carefully keyworded to attract plenty of search engine traffic on that particular subject.  The Adsense ads are then placed in the optimum positions to achieve the best click through (the Adsense pages will give you ideas on where to position them but it’s worth experimenting to see what works best for you), and the site goes live for people to find and read through.
You can also insert affiliate links for products into these sites in order to gain even more income if you wish, but they are often known as Adsense sites simply because they are set up to attract visitors and click throughs on a specific subject.
Some people end up with dozens of sites like this, and the beauty of them is that once they are built and you have bought your domain name and hosting plan you don’t really need to do too much with them except for promote them.  Updating them fairly regularly is good if you want to get to a higher position in the search engine results though, which will gain you more visitors as a result.
You can also keep your site updated more regularly (and encourage repeat visitors) by inserting RSS feeds of news stories related to the subject of your website.  Anything that will get people returning to read more – and possibly click on more ads as a result – is worth a try.
One final note here – choose the subjects of your Adsense sites wisely.  It’s tempting to go for whatever is in the news at the moment, but once the stories die down so will your traffic.  You want something that people will always want to know about – saving money, getting a better job, earning more, and various other more personal subjects such as skin care and successful dating for example.  There are plenty of options to choose from; you just need to get your thinking cap on to find them.
In short the best place to start making money from Google Adsense is to integrate it into your existing website or blog.  As you gain experience and discover the best ways to use it you can start thinking about adding extra sites into the mix.  You might end up being an Adsense guru and raking in plenty of money for very little work indeed.  That’s the best thing about it – the ‘set and forget’ benefit that keeps on working even when you’re not.
If you enjoyed this article or have any questions or comments about it, please leave them by using the form below.  Once you’ve done that it will be time to visit Google’s Adsense site to get started!  Good luck.

How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

How would you like to earn a little extra cash each month? Or even replace your income, working less to make more money… Think its a pipe dream? well, think again.
Most people know that there are millions of dollars being spent every single day purchasing products and services online. But did you know that you could be earning a % on every sale made by simply referring and recommending the products that you like to people.
It’s one of the best ways to get started making money online – you don’t need a website, you don’t need a blog, you don’t even need any cash to get started, although these things can help, you can certainly start without them. By helping consumers research and choose products they already want to buy, which could be as simple as writing a 500 word article (just like this one) you could be earning a nice little second income.
Featured Story: Click Here to find out how one “stay at home mom” is making $379/day working from home using eBay & Google. Read the full story here.
Or if you want to take it a little more seriously, you can earn a full income, even more than most “real world” jobs pay.
I personally make a full time living through affiliate marketing, and have been doing it now for about 5 years. Working from home, choosing the hours to suit my lifestyle, and making a lot more than I ever made working 60 hours a week in a job I hated.
But if you really want to achieve some success with affiliate marketing you need a plan that will get you the level of income you want. A lot of people I speak too love the “Idea” of making money online, they usually ask me a million questions, and tell me how serious they are, how they are going to go home and get stuck into it, read all the stuff I recommend and get started asap.
But then most of them never actually follow through on any of it. Then 6 months later I will see them again, some will avoid the topic completely, while others tell me again how serious they are, and they are really going to do it “this time”.
It’s pretty ammusing for me, watching people make up excuses as to why they havnt done anything.
Personally I don’t really care if they do it or not, it doesn’t effect me at all. Although it would be nice to have more friends who arent working all week to play golf with and take the boat out. But other than that, it makes no difference to me.
I don’t really understand it though, I believe its the perfect business, think about it, you can make as much money as you like, your income is a direct result of the amount of effort you put in. You can work whatever hours you like. (Which is very few when you have been doing it for a few years) Plus you can do it from anywhere you can plug in a laptop. So if you like to Holiday or travel around the world, its the perfect business.
But how do you get involved?
The best place to start is by going to a website that houses a wide range of affiliate products.  This keeps everything together in one easy to access place and gives you plenty to explore.  You can also get an idea of which particular areas you would like to concentrate on.  The worst thing you can do in affiliate marketing is to use the scattergun approach.
This is when you try and promote a wide range of products that aren’t connected with each other, all from a single website.  In essence it isn’t aimed at anyone – and you’ll make fewer sales as a result.
Instead, do some research and come up with a specific group of people that you can find a wide range of products for.  Or find a particular problem that people are searching online for solutions too, and direct them to the solution. Not only do you stand a much better chance of making a sale, But people will actually thank you for helping them find a solution, and be more than happy that you got paid to help them.
But if you don’t have a website, how can you promote your products?
There are several ways of doing this.  One of the best is to use article directories like EzineArticles.com or Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo.com, which allow you to build web pages for free on pretty much any subject you like.  Once these get indexed by Google and you do a little promotion for them, then you’ll start getting a steady stream of traffic – if you’ve picked the right topics and search terms to target.
At the beginning I mentioned the need to have a plan to reach the level of income you want.  Not many affiliates actually do this and it’s one of the main reasons why more people aren’t making a lot of money with affiliate marketing.  It’s certainly not because the potential isn’t there – it’s because they don’t plan to take advantage of it in the right way.
You should always look at how much you will get by way of commission for each product.  Obviously the less the commission, the more units you will need to sell to achieve your desired income.  You’ll achieve this through a balance of products obviously, but it’s worth bearing in mind.
You also need to think about the type of people you are marketing to.  What kind of income do they bring in?  How much are they likely to want to spend on the products you’ll be offering?  If you don’t match these two aspects up properly you will struggle to make any real sales.
It’s also helpful to set short, medium and long term goals to help keep things in perspective.  A short term goal might be to sell five products a week continually, for example.  A long term goal could be to make $100,000 a year from affiliate marketing.  Goals will help you to decide where you want to go with your fledgling affiliate marketing business.
Another important point to be aware of is that it’s wise to protect your income wherever you can.  What I mean by this is that affiliate links can be rather obvious at times, and some people will actually delete your link and go into the site and buy something while denying you the commission.
The easy way to prevent this is to simply buy a domain for each product you are going to promote, and redirect it to the affiliate offer.   There are plenty of free tools that do this for you online, and it’s really the safest way to protect your interests.  It also changes a long ugly link into a nice short one – much nicer for the article directories!
Affiliate marketing is like any other business, once you start generating some income, then you can start to invest some of that money back into your business to ensure you enjoy ongoing growth.
In short, start slowly and keep those visions of a huge income in perspective to begin with.  You’ll soon get to know your way around the business and with each new experience you can build your knowledge and earn even more in the months and years to come.
When I was first starting out, I learnt the basics by purchasing a few books and e-books on the topic, but mostly it was left to trial and error. I had to make a lot of mistakes in order to find a few good ideas that worked and made money.
Fortunately these days there are some really good resources available for people looking to learn this business. So if you’re serious about becoming an affiliate marketer, check out some of the resources on this page.
The most important thing to do though, is to just get started, do something right now, then follow it up tomorrow with something else… Try and do something every day towards your goal, don’t put it off for a single day, and before you know it, you will have a nice steady stream of profits coming in.
Too many of the people I talk to, put things off until they have more time, but then they forget, and never end up getting started at all. So commit to yourself, take some action and get started today.

How To Make Money With Facebook

If you haven’t heard of Facebook by now, you must be one of the few people on the planet who hasn’t.  It’s one of the biggest social networking sites on the internet, and as such it offers a great way to get in touch with like minded people who have similar interests to you.
But while many social networking sites don’t particularly like blatant advertising on their pages, Facebook doesn’t fall into that group.  There are ways and means to do most things online, and with Facebook the answer is in attracting the right kind of people to your profile page.
There is one other main feature that makes Facebook well worth looking at for making money though, and that will be revealed if you read the rest of this entry.
If you’re ready to get started making money on Facebook, click here to read about a 23 year old guy who has made thousands of dollars a month using nothing but a Free Facebook Account!
Once you have signed up to Facebook your first step should be to think about how you want to present yourself.  I say that because you don’t have to be yourself in order to make money from Facebook.  Don’t forget that you want to attract the attention of a specific group of people here, so that you become known as someone who is something of an expert on one particular subject.  So choose wisely!
Go for a popular niche that you have an interest in yourself, and develop your persona in that area.  If you already have something of a web presence in this area then you’ll find it will help you as more and more people become aware of who you are and what you know about.
Your first port of call, if you have anything second hand to sell which is related to your niche, is the Marketplace.  It’s free to place ads in the Marketplace and there is no limit on how many you can place, so if for example you come across a bargain lot of books on your subject on eBay or at a yard sale you can list them all individually on Facebook and sell them on for a profit.
If you have a budget to spend on advertising and you have some external websites you want to promote, you can try out the Social Ads to see what benefits you get from them.  It is well worth reading through the relevant help section to see what is involved though, as it is quite in depth.
The main benefit to being a member of Facebook is that you can build and use any number of applications to perform certain tasks on your profile page.  Facebook doesn’t frown at users making money from their Facebook page, and indeed many people link in to other websites outside of Facebook itself.  People are constantly building new applications and many of them are used by many different users to create pages that appeal to their own particular needs.
This is partly why you will succeed in making more money from Facebook if you brand yourself carefully before you get started on the site.  Figure out what it is you want to do and what you want to achieve.  If you already have a website up and running then you will be able to link into that, so keep the look and feel of your Facebook page in the same vein as your site.
But while you can link to other sites outside of Facebook, some people also sprinkle some affiliate links on their actual Facebook page itself.  For example, some quick research revealed one person who links into a range of ClickBank products on their page and does well from doing so.
So long as you start from a strong position with a particular focus and brand in mind, you can do well by experimenting with all the benefits that Facebook offers.  Take time to build up a network of friends and make sure you become known for being an expert in your particular sphere of interest.

How To Make Money Blogging

More and more people are realising that blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business.  It requires minimal start up costs, you can build an impressive and loyal readership over time and once you know how to monetize your blog it can also bring in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you don’t update your blog.
There are several ways to set up a blog online.  You could use WordPress, Blogger, or another free site that hosts your blog for you; or alternatively you can set up your own blog under your own domain name.
If you want to make serious money from blogging, you must have complete control over your blog – and that’s something the free blogging accounts won’t give you.  You’ll be bound by their terms and conditions and that usually includes not being able to actively promote anything.  There are plenty of people who have established a blog only to have it removed without notice some weeks or months later.
Featured Story: Click Here to find out how one “stay at home mom” is making $379/day working from home using eBay & Google. Read the full story here.
It will cost you a few dollars to buy your domain name and set up a web server that will host your blog, but the benefits will far outweigh the cost involved.  It can literally be as little as $20 a year we’re talking about here – and that buys you total freedom.
Once you’re ready to set your blog up you’ll need to choose a good theme and layout for it.  You might find one that relates to your choice of subject (more on that in a moment) or else there might be one you just like the look of.  But there are thousands of templates available for you to use – a simple search on Google will reveal the ones that will be best suited to your topic.
But perhaps the most important question is what you are going to blog about.  The whole world is your oyster here – some people blog about their lives in general; some blog about their jobs; some blog about their hobbies; some tell the world about their kids and what it’s like to be a parent, and still others blog about the weird world of celebrities.  But whatever you choose to blog about it needs to be something you are passionate about.  Don’t forget, you are going to be writing about this topic several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm for it, that will show in your posts – and no one else will have the enthusiasm to read them.
Okay – so you’ve got your subject.  Now you have to start writing your blog posts.  If you take a look at just a few of the blogs already online, you’ll notice that the length of the posts varies a lot.  Some people only write a paragraph or two each time, but you’ll get better results if you go for something a little longer than this.  Around 400 to 500 words makes for a good post with a lot of information in it; some people write hugely long posts that are thousands of words long and could be called an e-book by another name.
But you can also take the format of this blog, by posting a short blog entry which leads into a longer article.  This has the benefit of highlighting a lot of blog posts on the home page of the site, and people can then click through and read the ones they like the most.
You should remember however that there are no real rules when it comes to blogging.  Over time you will naturally find what works for you, and your blog will settle down into a nice pattern that both you and your readers will enjoy.  You’ll find your character and personality will start to come through in your writing too; don’t fight against this as it is one of the hallmarks of blogging.  It is, after all, a personal account of an individual’s life and experiences, so show people what you’re made of!  You’ll get a more loyal – and bigger – audience like this.
So you’ve got your blog up and running and you’re posting to it on a regular basis.  The next step is to get it in front of as many interested eyeballs as possible.
One great way to do this is to submit it to as many of the social bookmarking sites as possible.  You can also join social networking sites and build a profile which contains a link to your blog.  Other no cost ways to generate traffic include writing free articles for article directories with a link to your blog at the end, and creating signatures at the end of any posts you make to internet forums, and also in all the emails you send out.  When you really start thinking about it, you don’t actually need to spend anything to generate plenty of traffic.
All we need to do now is monetize the blog itself.  You’ll want to generate some money from all the visitors you’ll start getting, and there are plenty of ways to do this easily.  Google Adsense is probably the most well known method – you can join the program for free and display contextual ads that your visitors will be interested in to maximise your click through rate.
There are also a handful of websites which give you the opportunity to get paid for each blog post you make on a specific subject.  Pay Per Post and Review Me are two such examples, and they will pay you a certain amount of money to review a product or website for the owner.  In a similar vein you can also review and recommend other people’s products through affiliate links inserted into your blog posts, and earn money on commissions earned through any purchases people make.
And once you’re more established you can offer ad space on your blog too, and charge a fee for both classified and display ads if you wish.  What could be better than setting your own price?
But there is one final step you can take with your blog if you enjoy a change of scene every now and again.  You can sell your blog!  Once it is established and has plenty of revenue and traffic, you can usually sell it for ten times its monthly revenue.
And then, you can start all over again with a whole new subject!
So that’s it – profitable blogging in a nutshell.  If you have any questions feel free to leave your comments in the form below.  And once you’ve done that, get out there and get started building your first blog today.

In fact, there’s quite a lot of money to be had — and the cool thing is that you can earn it in your spare time.  Any time you can spare a few minutes — or a few hours, you can make money.
It’s easy too. Once you have signed up with the right survey companies, all you have to do is check your email and pick the best surveys, and you’re off to earning money every time you fill in the blanks.
Want to get started right away? Visit SurveyMastermind and enter your details (It’s a Free Service)  and you will start receiving surveys to fill out and start earning. Click Here to start now!
And if you’re wondering why anyone would care about your opinion, let alone pay you good money for it, read on.   There’s a reason why you can make real money with surveys:
Countless companies, including the largest international corporations, are desperately trying to find out what consumers want.  And they’re willing to pay a whole lot of money for market research.
But they still have a problem.  How can they connect with you, the consumer?  It’s not all that easy, so they hire survey companies to help them find out what people think about their products and what they would be most likely to buy in the future.  They also want to know what it will take to get people to buy…
And if you sign up, you’ll become part of that cutting edge market research.
It’s really cool. You may have the chance to find out about new products long before they actually become available in stores.  You might get to play video games that haven’t even been released yet.  And you might get to watch trailers for movies that haven’t even finished filming yet.  And the best part…. you get paid for your “efforts.”
That’s because paying for you to take surveys is the quickest and easiest way for a company to get the information and feedback they need. And believe it or not, even when they pay thousands of people several dollars each for fill it in even one quick survey, it’s cheaper (and more effective) for them than many other forms of market research.  And it’s way cheaper than making a costly mistake.
Remember the NEW Coke?  What a disaster that was!  And it would have been so easy to prevent. All they had to do was ask people what they thought of the idea and they would have known better than to mess with a tried and true formula.
But noooo.  The company executives thought they knew what was best — and they fell flat on their face.
So surveys can be essential for a company’s survival. And they know it and are willing to pay for it. So why not let them pay you?
Now you’re probably wondering what it will take to connect with those big companies and get paid for sharing your opinion?
All you have to do is find the right surveys… And the easiest way to do that is to join a club that specializes in helping consumers like you and me to hook up with the surveys that pay the most money.
And the best one of those clubs we have found is a website called SurveyMastermind.  Unlike a lot of other survey sites out there, it’s a Free Service. Not only that, but they also specialize in connecting you with surveys that actually pay.  And as soon as you join and sign up with the companies they recommend, you will start receiving surveys to fill out… and start earning.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is making money with surveys difficult?
Not at all.  You just need to be able to answer a few simple questions and fill in some details, and you’re ready to earn a nice income from taking online surveys and helping companies with their market research.
How do I pick the right survey sites?
Start by joining a survey club that will connect you with the best sites. After all, how much you can earn will depend on which survey sites you sign up for.  Some of those sites will pay you money every time you fill out a survey, while others use more of a sweepstakes approach, and offer cash and prize draws to those who fill out their surveys.
SurveyMastermind will help you find survey sites that pay cash for surveys.  Many other sites mostly send you surveys that offer prizes and points, so you need to be careful.
No matter which site you sign up for, though, they ultimately all work the same way.  You tell them your basic information and then they start sending you surveys whenever they become available.
However, the quality of the surveys you get can vary widely. That’s why SurveyMastermind is so helpful.  They pre-screen the actual survey sites for you and steer you to the ones that pay the most, and away from those that just waste your time.
How will it work?
First you join SurveyMastermind .  Then, you’ll get access to a list of pre-screened survey companies which in turn will send you the surveys.
You sign up for several of those companies and fill out your profile with as much information as you can. This will help the site in deciding which surveys to send to whom.
Do all survey companies pay cash?
No they don’t. SurveyMastermind will be sure to steer you towards survey companies that have lots of cash-paying surveys and away from those that don’t.
How much can I earn?
The amount you will receive for each survey or market research exercise varies between sites and countries, and it depends on the amount of time each one will take you. One site pays between $4 and $50 which is about average, although most surveys will be at the lower end of the scale.  Of course, you can fill in several surveys per hour, so the earnings can add up.
Can I answer the surveys any time I want?
Yes you can.  However, you should know that you’re usually competing with other survey takers.  Each survey may only need to be answered by a set number of people and they often send it to more than is needed to make sure they get enough replies. The sooner you can complete each one and send it back, the better – and the faster your money will add up too.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Make sure you set up a new email account purely for use with your survey sites. After all, you will be getting lots of emails to plough through, and you don’t want them all going into your normal accounts.  That way, you won’t have to sort through them to find your personal email.  You also don’t risk missing a potentially lucrative survey in an inbox full of personal email.

How I Increased My Daily Adsense Revenue By 53.66%

Google Adsense Revenue IncreaseI mentioned previously that I gave adsense a chance once again. I already have a lot of places to play around with adsense at. I did realize however that Adsense can be an effective way to make extra money at home. I started with around $5 a day at 3arn.Net which increased to $12 maximum.

The Great Jump Of Adsense

I was still playing around with adsense on my sites and I was testing out new and better things. My initial experiment started with 3arn.Net after I moved onto further sites. I knew 3arn.net wasn’t the perfect fit for adsense so I couldn’t expect it to make much, adsense on 3arn.Net is just an extra waistband on my wrist. But I knew that it wasn’t really hard to increase adsense revenue.
However, there are different types of blogs and websites that make more money with adsense. Namely, those which get most traffic from search engines. My results from those were much better in terms of making money with adsense.
My optimization sucked at first and I was hardly making enough money from Google Adsense on other blogs. By enough money, I mean over $50 (It’s best to clarify!) . Some websites were even pulling measly cents, which was very annoying! If you think out of the box, you might realize that you can create a steady income when the cents start to add up. After all, it is a 100 cents that make a dollar.
I just had to optimize more if I wanted to make some good money. But I’d say it was too early to make strong decisions, so during my usual play around with adsense. I tried switching the positioning and tried blending in the ads and my results were way above awesome!

The Revenue Climax

I’m a big fan of spiky graphs and I got excited to find a nice big spike in my google analytics account showing google adsense stats. A 53.66% revenue increase! Since then, my websites have been making as much.

What Caused The Increase In Google Revenue?

I could have put it the other way round, but below are a handful of things that helped me increase my Google revenue:
  1. Better Positioning of the Adsense unit.
  2. Blending the ad color of Adsense with the rest of the page.
  3. Removing Adsense from more than 90% of the pages on my websites and removing it absolutely from 4 of websites!
  4. Making sure that the right ads were being displayed.
  5. Making the ad prominent towards the user with the help of a few things.
  6. Getting it the right traffic.
  7. Knowing about the right time to display adsense ads.
  8. Filtering low-paying ads.
  9. Tracking channels to find out the best performing ads.
  10. Trying to put Adsense more sensibly within the page.
  11. Using a demo for testing the usefulness of the adsense ads.
  12. Trying to completely avoid the useless traffic.
These are some of those things that I implemented before I saw a spike. I was already making the previous amount, but the new added income is how I made easy money. I had to do next to nothing to experience a big boost in my adsense revenue.
You must be thinking that it is a whole lot of things but I took out a Sunday to do it all at once and then see the results. There was not much to figure out, however I found out that all the websites that implement blogging have a little better results with adsense.

But I’m Confused, Could You Be A Little More Practical?

Sure, I know that I can be a little hard to understand at times. I’ll be writing a follow-up to this with explanations with each one of the things that I mentioned here. You might want to subscribe to the feed if you do not want to miss it out.
I already have a lot of things in mind however if you write something exceptional  in the comments and I like your idea then I might give you credit in the next article. So get those useful tips coming. However, please note that you will not get credit if I already had that in my list.

Make Easy Money Online

Everybody wants to make easy money online. Why? More than half of the people in the make money online niche don’t even want to aim for making a fortune. While the fact is that more than 90% of the people in this niche will not be able to even make a living making money off the internet.
That’s when the question drops in that do you want to make easy money online? If the answer is yes then there is one warning: By nature all humans are greedy, if you cannot control your greed you will still make money but will never make easy money. This is different than making extra money, as I’ve already talked about how you can earn extra money in my previous articles. However, it’s only different when you look at it from the perspective I want you to, which is the money-maker’s perspective.
I can see the words coming out of your other ear. What I was trying to say was that you can never make money to your maximum capability if you’re resting. When you’re greedy, your greed want let you take work easy and hence you will make more money but it will not be easy.
The only reason why thousands of people are joining us every year is because of marketers telling them that they can make easy money online. Showing pictures of themselves resting at the beaches, their ferraris and the good life which certainly depicts that making money online is easy which is not the case to some extent.
Many internet marketers argue that there is in fact no such thing as ‘make easy money’. I’ll agree with them when you see that at every other website, they don’t even know what they’re talking about. They grab a few of their friends & family members to write testimonials and the newbie falls into the trap.
I agree with that thinking. However, if you learn things yourself and learn from free stuff from experts, that’s how you’ll succeed. This can also help you make easy money. This time I mean, getting more output from less work. For example, you work 1 hour a day and average around $100 per day. So that gives an hourly pay of $100 which I call easy money!
I decided to write down a plan that a person can use to make easy money. It would not involve a lot of efforts and can be easily used to make easy money unless you’re greedy as mentioned above.

Make Easy Money With A Blog

I know it sounds hard when you hear the fact that more than 98% of the blogs out there get less than 50 visitors a day which contributes to somewhere near 1 cent a week. Only 2% of the blogs are generating more traffic than that and even out of those more than 50% cannot make money out of it, forget making easy money.
The problem is: Either they’re doing it all wrong or they don’t want to get traffic and make money. Well whichever the case is, I suppose you do want to make easy money, don’t you? Then please read what is necessary and don’t skip that out.
I will not get into lengthy details, instead I’ll just highlight some points that can help you improve your chances of success or tell you where you’re going wrong. If you don’t have one, just look around the blog and you’ll find a guide on how to start a blog.
Pick a niche that you know something about. Don’t put Adsense yet! Write around 2-3 unique articles a week and put in some effort to write 1 pillar article a month. Be active in social networks and other blogs. Try to link bait.
After 2-3 months, if your blog is pulling in 200-300 unique visitors a day and has a pagerank 3 above then throw in the adsense ads. For the adsense placement, make sure that the ad is above the fold (the user does not have to scroll down to see the ad) and is on a place where the user is likely to look.
That should get you around 15-20 clicks a day (depends on the type of traffic) and if the advertiser pays well you can make $15-$20 a day and could check in a $500 cheque from Google at the end of the month. Now that’s what I call easy money!

Make Easy Money Online By Creating Online Assets

This might be a little linked with the previous ones but this wouldn’t exactly fit the definition of easy money but once you do a little work then I’d consider it the most highest level of easy money.
By online assets I don’t mean flipping website and all or having valuable domains. What I mean is that make a website, work on it to get recurring traffic and then put it on auto-pilot and make money with it.
If you haven’t guessed it by now, I’m talking about niche blogs. Unlike the first ones, these involve less work and are easier to set up. First you need to find a money making niche and get all your keywords. Next, start a blog over the keywords and the whole topic.
Write around 2 articles a week, each article targeting a sub-keyword. Start building backlinks slowly. After a few months, you may reduce your posting frequency to 2 or 3 articles a month. But as before, do not put adsense before 2-3 months. Or before your website/blog starts appearing on the first page for the keywords you’re targeting.
The advantage of this method is that, some niches take a lot of time for people to find them. Hence, if you find them at the right time you can profit off those keywords for almost little or no work. I call this complete automation of making money and totally easy money once you’re done and trust me neither one of the method is as hard as it sounds so have a strong gut to try them out.
Don’t neglect the importance of these words, I’m giving valuable information out for free. This might be the very time in your life when you start to make easy money online!

I’ve Been Busy, Yet Making Money

This is the thing that I love the most about making money on the internet. It is just quite reliable. Unlike normal jobs, this one pays even when you’re not working. Although there are some ways to make money which might stop making money for you as soon as you stop such as surveys but mine works great.
Recently, I’ve been way more than busy with a number of things mainly a major social event at my school. I could hardly use the computer for 15 minutes a day which was obviously only for checking the stats.
After that, I got busy on a few projects I started on the internet. I always have these *awesome ideas* at night. I wake up, get a domain, do hardcore php coding and put the website in place before I catch sleep again. It’s a pity that I lose interest in it the next time I wake up. :(
However, my income has stayed normal. In fact, above the normal. That doesn’t in any way mean that I should stop working but it’s an accomplishment. Meanwhile, I am working on projects that are completely different than my older ones. I’m experimenting and although I haven’t really have had any success till now but hey, it was experimenting in the first place which got me into this ‘make money online’ scenario.
I also noticed that I have been neglecting this blog a lot lately. I always fail to stick to the posting plan I design for 3arn.Net but oh well. I will try to write more for newbies. In fact, if you have any questions that you’d want to be anwered just hit me up a message through the contact page and I might even address that in a post.
For all those wondering about the rest of the contest winners, I mailed the winners directly so you might want to check your mailbox if you participated because you might find a surprise. Although, I sent out the mails around 3 weeks ago.

55 Surefire Ways To Make More Money With Adsense

I recently talked about how you could increase your adsense revenue and also said that I’d be writing this article. It is a compilation of all the useful tips to make more money with google adsense.
It’s not rocket science and no matter how much you know, I’m sure you’ll learn a few new tricks below to improve the way you make money with adsense.
Please note that these tips are working and up-to-date. Also note that these tips are not ordered in any form and are only categorized. So let’s get this started:

The Ad’s Appearance

  1. Blend the color of your ad with the page background: This is the most obvious tip repeated around the internet for ages. Basically, you just need to keep the border color and the background color the same as the color of the background where the ad lies. There might be a problem if your website has a page background gradient, in that case you should try putting it in a bordered container. I’ve written a post earlier about blending ads.
  2. Match the color scheme of the ad with the color scheme of the web page: If your blog/website has boxes with white background and gray border then create an ad with the same color scheme to show that the ad is a part of the page and make it blend in with the template.
  3. Use a background image to make the ad more prominent: This works best on blogs with lots of graphics.  In a web page like this, putting an ad with blending colors will not do the trick. Be a little creative and put the ad on an image. For example, if you have a website about growing apples then you might want to pick an image of a red apple and then put an ad with red background and border and fit it in perfectly. This background image will help get some attention and more clicks.
  4. Set the font according to your page: Along with other updates adsense has put in, it has also allowed us to change the default font to the one matching in your page. So check your page font and then change the ad with that accordingly. This also helps your ad look more as a part of the page.
  5. Set the font size according to the rest of the text on the page: Same goes with the font size. If you have bigger font on the page then the click through ratio for the ad will be very low because it would look very awkward, so be sure to set that accordingly.
  6. Increase the font size of the ad to make it a little more prominent: I tried this out and it really worked well. Basically, you just need to keep the font size for the ad a little bigger than the rest of the font on your page. Just like H1 and H2 headings get more attention on a page. The same will be for the ads, as the first step is to get the attention of the visitor. Just don’t set it to large.
  7. Give the ad title the same color as other headings/links on the page: When a visitor comes to your page, he recognizes the color of headings and links on the page. There are many people who might not just recognize the links in the ad at first so you should always keep the link of the title in the ad settings to be the same as other links on the page. Although some people recommend to keep it as the default ‘blue’ links, I would only recommend that if your design is extremely simple.
  8. Try not to use the rounded corners, the square corners draw more clicks and attention: After playing around on my websites, I found that rounded cornered ads get less clicks compared to square corners. So stick to squared corners unless it really messes up with your design, no need to get into this if you’re keeping the border to be the same as the background.
  9. Try to keep the ad background as light as possible, the border and the title darker than that: Light backgrounds are always an assistance to readers. Especially if you have a website with a very dark background then there is no need to blend the ad. You should use a lighter shade of the same color and watch the clicks go crazy.
  10. Don’t use Adsense’s default palettes: This is obvious because Google Adsense has been around for  around 6 years now and most websites use the default palette of adsense. This has triggered an ad filter in the minds of people with that palette. So no matter what, try not to use the default palette.

    The Ad’s Positioning

  11. Try placing the ad within the content: Visitors are usually interested in the content, so putting it at a place within the content would increase the chances of the ad getting seen and then getting clicked.
  12. Ads are most effective on the left side: Naturally, we always look from left-to-right when we read something because of the English writing standards. Similarly, ads are most likely to be seen when they’re on the left side rather than being in the right most. Ads in the middle are also better than the ones on the right.
  13. Place images around the ad: This is a little old but works so darn well on websites that only an idiot will not try this if he had a website which is not all about content but pictures and videos or just a fun tool.
  14. Try to put the adsense in the most keyword rich place: Generally, we are told that Google Adsense ads are fetched by looking at the content all around the page, but usually this is given less weight. Adsense tries to deliver ads most relevant to the place where it is found. So try to put the ad where the keyword is used the most. Please note, that I did not mean to spam the hell out of your article just to get good ads!
  15. Try to keep all ads above the fold: Many users don’t even scroll down when the visit the page and if you want to make the maximum money, you cannot risk to leave out those people who don’t scroll down. Instead, put them above the fold so that everyone can see them and improve your chances of getting more clicks. For your information, above the fold means that part of the web page that is visible without scrolling down.
  16. Don’t put advertisements in the footer: This is just a stupid reason to lower your click-through ratio and get smart-priced. If you’re mistaken the please understand that nobody clicks ads in the footer so please remove them!
  17. Don’t put two ads together, put some content between them: This would definitely be a very stupid thing to do. Firstly, it gives a bad impression to the visitor and makes the page look like spam. Secondly, it might display irrelevant or the same ads on both units. So always putting at least a paragraph of content before putting another ad unit.

    The Ad’s Size

  18. A leader board works best on the top of the page: A leader board on the top of the page, preferably on the right side (Because there is usually a logo on the left side). Although you can experiment, my results were the best when I stuck to image-only ads for the leader-board instead of the text ads.
  19. A Medium banner works best under the header: Right under the header (Or the first 100-250 pixels of the height), a medium 468 x 60 ad works wonderfully. This works good for both, text ads as well as image ads.
  20. Horizontal link lists work best under the header navigation: Long 728 x 15 horizontal link lists get lots of clicks. This used to work great, in fact it still works great in terms of more clicks. However, you might give it a second thought after keeping the new Google Adsense interest-based advertising in mind.
  21. Square link lists should only be used in the sidebar and best tried to match the format of other widgets: Since you cannot modify the size of ads except the ones available, adjust your sidebar to fit the size of the square link list. Also try to imitate the style of links on the link unit to other widgets in your sidebar, so that link list looks just like other links and their titles in the sidebar. This is what I call ultimate blending.
  22. Large Rectangle and Medium Rectangle work best within the content: If you want maximum clicks, then just place a large or medium rectangle within the content preferably on the left side. This is the best known adsense ad optimization. After all, a little extra money won’t hurt right?
  23. Sky scrapers and Wide sky scrapers work best in sidebar: Putting them a little way down the right or left sidebar works great. But be sure that these are text-only ads. Image ads don’t work here.

    The Ad’s Type

  24. Image ads get twice as much clicks as text ads on media blogs: By media blogs, I meant blogs which are primarily about pictures and videos and other graphical forms of presentation. On a place like this, text-ads would be like a cyclist in a nascar race. Hence, to match the graphics around always use image-only ads here.
  25. Text ads are much more effective when embedded in the content: When you have articles or post or other information presented in the form of text, embedding text-ad rectangles works the best.
  26. Test, Test and Test: You never know what might just work great so always keep testing. This might seem to be contradicting to number 24 but I’ll explain that. For example, if you have a post about pictures of britney spears and you have an ad near it that reads: ‘Contact Britney Spears’ or ‘Meet Britney Spears’, then you can imagine how many clicks that would get. So be sure to test for once at least to see what works best.
  27. Generally, image ads grab more attention: Even if you want to grab some attention within the content then you might want to try image ads because generally they do grab more attention and if they are good they will attract more clicks. You can check that out with the adsense sandbox.

    The Ad’s Tracking

  28. Always put a custom channel on the ad to track that which ones work out to be the best: You have got to be missing out a lot if you don’t use custom channels for each and every different ad unit that you have. The real secret to adsense is optimizing and getting the most revenue out of the same traffic and space. You can never decide what works best until you put custom channels to see what works best.
  29. Integrate your adsense account with your analytics account: If you haven’t done this already, you can find the link on the adsense dashboard after you create a google analytics account. This is very useful in tracking.
  30. Check out which pages make the most money and try to replicate the success of those pages: This gives you a chance to see that what works the best. Since you’re the one who owns the website, you know what you did and then you can do that again to replicate that success to make more money. I mean that would be called making easy money online, how long does it take to replicate something you’ve done?
  31. Check out which kind of traffic gives you the most adsense revenue and try to increase that: Normally, this would be search engine traffic but you can always see that for yourself. Why listen to me and not see it for yourself?
  32. Check your adsense referrers and try to stabilize your revenue: On your Google Analytics account there is an option called adsense referrers. When you click that, you can see that which websites sent the visitors that clicked ads the most. You can use that information to try to increase visitors from that website.
  33. Try to improve your website in the search engines to get more clicks: If your pages are getting most ‘adsense-clicking’ traffic from search engines then try to increase that traffic by doing some search engine optimization on your website. Concentrate on getting more backlinks to increase your website’s overall authority, you can read that on my article about how to get backlinks.
  34. Try to improve position for search phrases that generate most revenue: You can also see that which keywords the visitors came from who clicked the most ads. Chances are that the nature of that query attracts the visitors to ads. There are also chances that you are not ranking number 1 for that, so you can always increase your earnings by ranking better for those key phrases.
  35. Start filtering the ads on pages by looking at what kind of ads work on what kind of page: Unlike custom channels, google analytics also shows you which pages generated the most revenue. This way, you can carry out site-wide experiments and then see what works best on which page and then keep the ones that work good and remove the rest.
  36. Keep track of the click-through rates before and after amendments to find out which worked better: With Google Analytics, you get a more in-detail view of the performance of your ads. This way you can make amendments on a page and then see whether it worked for good or for worse. It is demonstrated in in the form of statistical graphs which makes it very easy for us.
  37. Use the website analyzer on google analytics to see where most visitors click and then try to replace that place with ads: The website optimizer is a great tool and it tells you about the places where your visitors click the most when the visit that page. You can use this information to substitute that with ads and make more money off that.

    The Page design

  38. Don’t overdo the designing: I don’t really think that adsense ads work so well with very ‘fancy’ designs. The simpler, the better.
  39. Keep the background as light as possible, preferably white: I’ll share a secret with you. While some might give you other nasty techniques to make more money with adsense, I’ll just say: Give the user what he wants plus a good experience on your website. So make the background light, this is an aid to easy reading. Get the idea?
  40. If the background is darker then make the background of the ad lighter than it: I discussed the same thing earlier and I’ll say it again. If you have a dark background like black then don’t make the ad black as well. In fact, make the ad background gray or white and this will get a lot of clicks. There are some times when you just don’t blend the ads.
  41. Experiment fancy containers for the ad to see which one works best: Let your creativity go wild. Let it travel around the vast horizons of your thinking to  bring out some cool yet silly things. After that, just put them to work and then keep experimenting till you know you’re one step away from busting your brain. That’s when you’ll know what works best. By the way, I was talking about creating good background images to place your ads on. :D
  42. A very simple design with neatly blended ad can result in a high CTR: Yes,  you heard it right. Our normal thinking is that fancy graphics and flash animations are a very cool thing. If you think from the perspective of a visitor, you will not think the same. Same as point 34, keeping a simpler design to enhance a better user interface will result in more revenue in the long run.
  43. Create several imitations of the square link list: This is something you need to do with your sidebar. Even a newbie CSS learner could write a few lines of code to imitate the adsense link list. I’ve seen thousands of websites do this. Since people usually click less on ads, this way they’ll switch of the ad alert in their brain and click the ad.

    Miscellaneous

  44. Put adsense on those pages which get most of their visitors from Google: Now here comes the important part. We all know that mostly adsense ads are clicked by searchers. So you should put adsense on those pages that get most of their traffic from google, yahoo or bing. Now, if you’re thinking why should you do this, the answer is pretty simple. You should know that when people don’t click on your ad after some time you get smart-priced which means that you will not get the same amount per click that you usually get. So this helps eliminate the chance of your ad being seen by those who will not be interested in it generally.
  45. Show google ads to searchers only: While the first step was more general and was all manual. In this, I’ll let you know about a nifty trick to show google ads to be seen by searchers only. If you’re using wordpress, just add the following code before and after your adsense code and then it will only show to google searchers:
    $ref = $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"];
    if (strpos($ref, “google”)!==false)
    { ?>
    [Google Adsense Code Here]
  46. Test google ads and then decide whether they’ll be worth putting: Use the google adsense sandbox to check what ads will display for a certain keyword or on a specific page. You can check out the adsense sandbox. This is very useful as it can let you test out what kind of ads will display before you actually put them.
  47. Look for better paying keywords and use them to pull high paying ads to make more money: First you need to open google adwords keywords tool. Next, you need to enter the primary keyword. When it shows all the keywords then select ‘Show Estimated Avg. CPC’ from the drop-down menu. Now just order them in descending order of the Average CPC and there you are with the most profitable keywords. Try to use them within content to experience the highest paying ads. You might also want to check them out using the adsense sandbox.
  48. Use the ad filter to filter all ads which pay very low amounts like $0.05~: There used to be big lists around. You can still google them and find the list of low-paying advertisers. Once you’re logged in, first click on ‘Adsense Setup’ after that click on ‘Competitive Ad Filter’ and then paste the list of those websites in the big text box that you’ll see on that page. There you are, you’ve filtered all the low-paying advertisers.
  49. Putting adsense on a website after it gains stability in the search results: This is very effective. Don’t put adsense on a new site. This has been self-tried by me and I only put adsense when the site gains a stable position in the search results. If you put adsense from day one, google thinks that you are probably in for the quick money and might send your site to the sandbox which will stop you from earning for about a year.
  50. Try to keep one page more focused on one topic: I usually try to avoid putting adsense on pages which are very general and not focused on a specific topic. The reason is that the ads will not be so targeted and then there will be less chances of getting click-throughs. Having a low click-through rate might result in getting smart-priced which results in very low revenue per click.
  51. Create more and more content, grab out for as much keywords as possible in different pages: Try to create targeted separate pages for each and everything you find on the topic of your website. Being more targeted increases the chances of getting clicks on that page and would also increase the overall authority of your website on that topic.
  52. Don’t put adsense on every page, especially if you have a personal blog: You really wouldn’t want to put adsense on a post where you’re talking about your trip to cousin’s house. Reason being, a normal person wouldn’t be intersted in that topic. Those who will be interested in knowing about your trip will definitely not be interested in the ads. So, it is just another reason to get smart-priced.
  53. Avoid non-english characters to avoid irrelevant ads (Via Eric Giguere):  I found this to be stating that putting Non-English characters like a french last name on your page could result in multi-lingual ads which would be a really bad thing if you have an English only website. So try to reduce Non-English characters in your page to get the best ads.
  54. According to Google’s new interest based advertising, recommend your visitors not to click the ads if they have no interest in it: I really do not have much knowledge on this but as far as I heard, google recently released their interest based advertising. For getting more revenue, you should advice your visitors not to click the ads if they are not interested in them. You never know, a few people who are not interested click the ads and adsense bans you for invalid clicks.
  55. 3 ad blocks per page maximum: This has also been discussed by google representatives and I think it is also in their TOS. Abide by this rule, it is for your own good. Personally, I’ve never put more than 2 ad blocks on a single page and 90% of the times there is only 1 ad block on the page. Trust me, 1 or 2 are better than 3 or 4.
There you are a big fat list of ways to make money on the internet, possibly the biggest one around (I’m guessing). In fact, I could have put this on a pdf and sold an ebook but I decided to give it away for free.
By the way, the link to the long talked adsense sandbox is here not on the list! :D Now I’ll tell you why list is very effective for earning money on the internet.
Everyone can create a free account at adsense and everyone can create a free website. Thousands of people create content. If you mix the first two with the practical tips from this list, you’re on your way to making a residual income from Adsense.
This is the ultimate answer if you wanted to know how to make money with adsense. Could it get any easier and simpler than this? I don’t think so…
For the record, this is the biggest article I’ve ever written on this blog and probably the one I spent most time on as well.

Free Money, Is There Really Such A Thing?

Free money, the name itself is fascinating enough to draw attention. I actually found myself looking for this on Google last week when one of my friends told me about a few clever websites. Well if you’re going to be looking for free money, I’ll save you a few minutes of ‘research’.
There have been stories around of the United States government giving away free money or shall I say money grants for small business owners. This was way back in the late 1990’s and the early 2000’s, to save me some words Business Week already busted this myth back in 2000.
Of course, even if it existed it was only for U.S. citizens and as I checked the most people looking for free money are from India. So they are definitely not looking for free money grants from the government. Maybe they’re just putting out an urge to make money in this way.

Free money
Free money scams are out there. So be careful.

Let me tell you something interesting. When I first got onto the internet on high-speed internet was in mid 2006. There is a different way that everyone puts forward their urge to make money. I used to search ‘earn money’ or ‘earn money on the internet’. So basically, all of the following terms lead to the same thing:
  • Make money online
  • Earn money online
  • Make money on the internet
  • Earn money on the internet
  • How to make money online
  • Ways to make money online
Get the idea? This is because I just happened to check a forum that I used to be active on around 2 years ago. The guy who started it was referring to make money online as making free money.
Now, I don’t challenge their definition to it and I wouldn’t say that this isn’t free money. I might have mentioned it multiple times before but in case you missed it I’ll give you a recap of my earnings on the internet:
  • To date I’ve made $x,xxx with this website.
  • My total expense to make this money was $102 ($5 x 18 for hosting and $6 x 2 for domain)
In this case, although I spent very little money to make the big amount but it really wouldn’t be called free money since I did spend some money to make it. Let me put it this way for a free blog on blogger. I made $210 from in the last three months. As we all know blogger blogs are free, so that in a way could be called free money.
Although you have to put in some effort to get that free money, so you can call it free money, earn money or make money. It’s all the same thing. I know that the whole thing got confusing for the bit and I’ll explain the whole thing in a paragraph below:
Making free money through the internet means that you can use the internet to make money without paying for it. That can be done. You can make money on the internet for free and I already mentioned an example of how it can be done.
So, in case you were looking for ways to make free money online, you can check out the links below that teach how to earn money online:
Furthermore, you can check out the make money on the internet by blogging series. There are tons of other articles that are either directly or indirectly related to making money that can be found on this blog.

Adsense Free Brings You 155 Free Adsense Templates

Have you ever wanted to have a semi-automated way of making money with adsense? Well, now you’ve got it. Today I’ll be talking about a website called AdsenseFree.Com and it is the website which will help you setup a huge network of websites with adsense.
That’s right, I’m talking about dozens of adsense ready templates ready to make money for you. That is, if you know how to make money with adsense. So basically adsense free gives you a whole bunch of adsense templates that already have adsense on them, they also have a theme and some content on each page.
This is perfect for adsense newbies, people who want to make money with adsense but don’t know how to create a website or simply for those who don’t have time in setting up adsense on hundreds of pages and then finding content for each page. So  by now I know what’s going on in your mind

What’s the Catch?

You must be thinking: Why is this website giving away free adsense templates, there must be some catch. They must be charging some money for the templates in one way or the other.
The fact is, you will not be charged a single penny for the templates and all 155 adsense templates are going to be gifted for you for free. All you have to do is sign up for a normal hosting package which you would have done so if you ever wanted to start up a website. That’s it!
Just for signing up for a nominal hosting package (which you will be needing anyways), you will be given 155 adsense templates ready to do the work for you. Plus, you get many other free gifts from them. Once you sign-up through their recommended host, just send them an email and you will get the reply very soon with the file attached containing  155 adsense templates and other important information.
Now those are not just 155 pages with content on them. I’m talking about 155 templates/categories each of which has their own sub-pages as content fillers. So, each category has around 70 - 150 pages filled with content regarding that category. So if you do the math, that is around 0.15 million pages ready with content and adsense on them for you to make money.
It doesn’t end there. Think how tedious it would’ve been if you had to insert your adsense publisher id into each one of them pages manually. It could easily take you a few days if you are a newbie.
But this sweet package includes a little program which will ask you for your adsense publisher id and then edit each and every page with your adsense publisher id to make sure that those pages make you money once they get traffic.
If you were to put the 0.15 million pages on a brand new website, it would take you a maximum of ten minutes to have thousands of content rich, adsense-ready pages floating around your website like they’ve been lying there for ages. That is the best part of it. However, now comes the real review of this thing which shall tell us whether this thing is good for making money or not.

Can This Thing Really Make Me Money?

This is by far the most important point of this post. You would only want to check this out if you were assured that it would make you money or not and if so then how would it make you money. The only drawback that this thing has is: That the content is not unique.
The content that is put on individual pages under each template or category is taken from article directories. This kind of ruins your plans of getting traffic from search engines to it unless you are really a professional.
If you are a complete newbie, first you should know how to make money with adsense because just putting up a website with 0.15 million pages and not getting even one visitor to it will not make you even a cent for decades.
So, I wouldn’t really recommend this to you if you are a first time adsense user. However, if you already have some experience with adsense prior to this then you might know how to make money with adsense without involving SEO or organic traffic.

For the PPC lovers

This might be the perfect thing if you are a PPC junkie. That is because you have 0.1 million pages and each and every one of them is targeted to a specific thing. So after this if you ever want to get any niche, you might check this website because your little niche might already be a part of this monster empire. You can pin point traffic from adwords, etc. to individual pages and make money off it.
This is called PPC/Adsense arbitrage. This is kind of tough to get a hang of but many people have made several hundreds and thousands of dollars with this (not me) and it gets cumulative with time. Just to let you know if you want to try it out and take the risk, it involves buying cheap traffic through adwords on low-bid keywords and then targeting high-bid keywords on your page and getting clicks on those ads. When your adsense earnings surpass your adwords expenditure, congratulations, you’re making profits!

But what about SEO?!

I know it is sad but SEO might be a no-no situation for this monster empire of yours unless you’re a SEO professional. I already said this before, but what would that SEO professional do here that could get your content indexed and probably get a little share of the organic search traffic is one thing: Domain trust.
By building domain trust you let Google know that you’re not one of those pesky spammers that have thousands of pages with the same content and want each and every one of them to rank in the top.
Simply because, a person whose domain has some authority would never really do such a thing and this differentiates you from the spammers. So my advise would be to try to get links from high page rank websites.
Usually, high authority websites do not link to spam websites. So, you’re standing out of the crowd right there. This can really help your website get indexed and then given traffic eventually. But I must warn you, relying on this can take a lot of time and patience is required.
There you are. I’ve given you the good sides and the bad sides of this program. I’ve told for whom this might not work and also mentioned whom this would work for and how it can be used by them to make money. Whether you go for it or not, the decision is up to you. If you have any experiences with this program, I encourage you to share with others through the comments below.

Big Earners Don’t Look For A Consistent Income

Ever since I started making money online, I only looked into ways that could actually promise me a good amount of money on a consistent basis. This excluded all ways that could not make money for me on a consistent basis. For example, many times I have refused web deisnging projects just because I think this is a work that would not promise me a consistent income.
The fact is, there is hardly a chance that you actually build a consistent income. The way I built consistent income was by creating a team of website including this one. There is an average amount of money that I make from these websites every month which is quite consistent. It involves a lot less risk.
However, what I learned from a few famous money makers on the internet was that you don’t have to look for a ’set-it-and-forget-it’ kind of system if you want to hit big. In fact, you can hit big cash lots of time and actually make those ‘big hits’ consistent.
One thing that has been bothering my mind for a while is PPC. Most of the internet marketers I know of are making deadly profits using this little advertising tool with Google, Facebook and other social networks as well. The biggest thing this involves is: Risk.
Risk is not something that I’d be willing to undertake at this level. Moreover, PPC involves a lot of money. For example, there is a guy Jon who recently made a net profit of $1.6 million in 30 days. This was his come back after a long time.
However, he had totally grossed $2.2 million and the rest $0.6 million was the expenses of PPC or other advertising that he used for making that money. Usually people use offers from CPA networks to publicize on these and then make affiliate commisions per offer completed or per lead generated.
I started with CPA networks a while ago but so far haven’t really gotten the gist of it. I have set up campaigns (not PPC) and tried getting them some traffic but so far have had no luck. This just made this whole PPC craze look a little unachievable for me. However, I intend to learn more about how CPA offers work.
I’m doing a little reading around other blogs and I will also be sharing some good reads that I find on this topic. Meanwhile, if you have any good articles or blogs to share, please let me know about them in the comments. Thanks in advance.

Paypal’s Not-So-Perfect Alternative In Pakistan

Hey Chaps,
If you remember, a while ago, I did a post on barriers to earning money online in pakistan. Before moving forward, let me tell you that this is not only for those who’re living in Pakistan and simply can’t sign-up to Paypal.
This is also for those from the gulf states or other countries that are not supported by Paypal. Or simply if you’re one of those people who’re sick of paypal and got your account suspended on Paypal with 1000’s of dollars (It happens a lot!).
I’d like to tell you about Alertpay. It is a pretty renowned online payment processor, perhaps the second best. Correct me if I’m wrong. I compared it to other common ones like moneybookers, payoneer, e-gold, etc.

Payment Transfer Reliability

Paypal - AlertpayI’ve been using alertpay for around a year now. Recently, I’ve been receiving and making payments with Alertpay with no problems. However, around the first quarter of  of 2009 I did experience some disruptions in their service.
For around 2 months, alertpay was unable to accept any credit card payments, although payments to and from alertpay accounts could be done but credit card involvement was not possible. This did hinder a bit of my activities.
But then again, that is still better compared to not being able to do anything. My account is in complete function for pretty long now as I’ve been receiving and making paymenmts.

Getting Verified

This is the biggest part of using any online payment processor because if you want to add or withdraw funds, you need to be verified with the payment processor. Well, prior to signing up with them, I talked to many pakistanis with verified accounts so that I could be assured.
However, I sent them scanned copies of the documents required to verify my account. It said that it would require 30 business days to process it. As of today, it has been over 90 days and still no luck. :(
I think that the problem at their end is that their user base is increasing at a constant speed and it is becoming hard for them to cater for all those users. So normally, you’d have to wait in a ‘queue’ until you get verified. That’s how I interpret it.

My Paypal Vs. Alertpay Comparison

To be honest, my main usage of an online payment processor is something like this:
  1. Receive money in my account from clients, etc.
  2. Spend that money on something that I want to buy.
So, in this way, if I have a fake paypal account (showing residence in any random country) and I can send and receive money with it if you don’t get verified after a while. However, after some while, for no apparent reason, Paypal totally freezes your account until you verify.
However, in Alertpay, I have selected my real country and all information is real. My account is legitimate. I can send and receive payments. The only problem that exists is that it is taking pretty long for them to verify my account.
If my account gets verified then I can add / withdraw funds as well, which would just be a plus for me. In fact, I think that maybe you can add funds even if you’re unverified but just can’t withdraw them.
Overall, I think that there are only two problems with alertpay at the moment:
  1. They need to speed up their verification process.
  2. They need to attract more online merchants to start using Alertpay as a payment method to give us more flexibility in spending online.
Other than that, all in all, Alertpay is a great payment processor. A savior in my case, after I got dumped by Paypal. What’s that? That’s another long story.
I’ll be ranting about that in a few days to warn off all those who’re using unverified paypal accounts and how dangerous it is for your money.
