As a blog that starts private advertisement for the first time, it is pretty normal to not have advertisers for some time and have empty ad slots in the first few months. Provide Banner in some other Form

For a limited time, in my case, I made a listing to sell 125×125 ads on my blog equivalent to the price of the banner in the form of Entrecard Credits. I did benefit in terms of entrecard credits as well as I sold ad slots, hence fulfilling both of my aims.

What’s the Benefit

At least 4 ad slots sold out, which gives a good impression to the visitor, that is, the website has some value. It helps sell more ad slots as well. The advertisement that I got in exchange will get me traffic, wide exposure and make my blog more famous. You might also gain more visitors as many small-scale advertisers might be checking almost every hour to see if their ad is looking alright. You may also develop friendship with other fellow bloggers which will help your blog expand to a wider horizon.
